Stamp it Out, the industry's comaign to erradicate workforce abuse and vehicle incursions has announced the date and venue for the first of its 2025 Ministerial Briefing Sessions.


The event will take place on the morning of Tuesday 11th March at the Science Gallery in London.


As well as a keynote presentation from Future Roads Minister, the Rt Hon Lillian Greenwood MP, and with other speakers from National Highways, the National Police Chiefs Council and leading tier 1 contactors,the event is a must attend for all of those responsible for putting people to work on the public highways and across the rail sector.



The Summit will also examine the subject of abuse in much greater detail and look at strategies which employers and adopt and the support available from law enforcement agencies and broader society. The next phase of the programme will also be discussed.


Taking place as part of Respect Our Workforce week, 10th - 14th March 2025, the event will also serve to unveil phase 2 of the updated strategy for the programme, supported by the Department for Transport.


Speaking about the launch of phase 2 opf the strategy, Alicia Hibberts, Business Director for Stamp it Out explained why it was necessary to continue to build upon the successes of this year, she said,


"Respect our Workforce week was a phenomenal success which surpassed even our own wildest expectations as we reached 1 in 6 of the UK population with our Think Respect campaign.



"But it is critical that we don't rest on our laurels as the levels of incursions and abuse are still far too high.


"We now find ourselves in a unique position of having a rapidly expanding spheres of influence and so it is right to continue the momentum we have generated.


"By using the vehicle of Respect our Workforce week to unveil our updated strategy we aim to build upon this and set out a clear vision of our direction of travel for the next 18 months."
