Stamp it Out, the industry led campaign have announced a thought leaders networking event as part of their annual summit.
Taking place the evening before the main conference itself at Corvo Cafe and Bar, Tower Hill, the event will be an opportunity for industry leaders and key stakeholders to discuss the challenges we face around the abuse of our workforce in a slightly more relaxed environment.
Invitations for the event which takes place on the evening of Wednesday 16th September at Corvo Bar and Restaurant will be issued directly to attendees by the organisers and attendance will be on a strictly invitation only basis.
Complimentary food and drink will be made available with attendees encouraged to foster open and honest conversations around the challenges we face with regards to road worker abuse.
Attendees from client organisations such as National Highways, Leading Water Companies as well as energy providers will be in attendance alongside representation from the Department for Transport.
Speaking about their decision to sponsor the event, Louise Cope, Director of GTM, a subsidiary of Network Plus explained,
"Abuse of the workforce is a challenge which all employers face whether a traffic management company or a utilities provider.
"We are all acutely aware that we need to collectively come together as a sector to tackle the issue and the hope of our networking event is that we can effectively begin those conversations."
